ABSTRACT:
The heat from the sun , coupled with the wind, has been used to dry and preserve food crops for several thousands of year instead of such a kind of drying occurs in the building terrace or in the open space, dryers are the most effective and efficient option for drying. All dryers need ventilation to able to dry crops effectively. Air movement can be by natural convection or by forced convection. By using modern solar dryer, better quality product can be obtain in less time and in more hygienic way. Double flow solar air heater is one of the effort in the direction of improving the efficiency of solar dryer with low cost.
