ABSTRACT:
We investigate the problem of free convection heat transfer near an isothermal stretching sheet. This has been done under the simultaneous action of buoyancy, radiation, and transverse magnetic field. The initial governing boundary layer equations are transformed to a system of ordinary differential equations, and then numerically solved by Fehlberg fourth- fifth order Runge-Kutta method using Maple. The velocity and temperature functions and gas concentration profile are represented graphically for various values of the flow parameters: radiation parameter , free convection parameter , magnetic parameter , Prandtl number and the Schmidt number are examined.
