ABSTRACT:
In the past few years the global need for low cost, high performance and good quality materials has caused a shift research from one base metal to alloy metals and composite materials. Due to shifting of base metals to other lightweight and more durable metals there is requirement of joining dissimilar metals. It is not possible to join dissimilar metals by the use of fusion welding methods. With the use of friction stir welding dissimilar metals can be weld. In this paper the different research paper based on friction stir welding were investigated and review in the form of different finding are listed.
